Yesterday, the Italian government invoked the army as local Bergamo crematories and funeral homes can no longer handle the influx of deaths. Army trucks were used to transport the deceased to other nearby cities to be buried and or cremated.

A video made by one of the citizens in Bergamo shows how a line up of military trucks driving through town to pick up deceased in the region of Lombardy. An army officer confirmed that about 15 army trucks and 50 soldiers brought caskets in order to transport the bodies to the surrounding provinces.

Italy had the deadliest day so far yesterday, with 475 corona-victims. Today another 425 deceased are claimed. The government will most likely prolong the existing lockdown for the whole country, but for how long no one knows.
